With the following data privacy information, we, Develappers GmbH, Bayrische Str. 8, 01069 Dresden, as the responsible party in the sense of the General Data Privacy Regulation (GDPR), explain which personal data we process when you visit our website and use our online services. We would like to point out that by default all data transmissions in connection with our website are made via an encrypted connection.

Logging and creation of log files

Your IP address, browser ID and domain, the name of the retrieved file, the date and time of the retrieval, the amount of data transferred and the successful retrieval are kept in a log file. The processing of personal data is carried out for the provision of the website as well as for troubleshooting and clarification of abuse or fraud on the basis of a legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR. The log files are deleted after seven days.

In addition, we use Microsoft Azure Application Insights from Microsoft Corporation (Microsoft) using European server locations for logging and notification of unusual patterns. For this purpose, a contract for commissioned processing pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR has been concluded with Microsoft. The categories of data already listed above are processed on the basis of legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR. The legitimate interests result from the early detection of unusual patterns for the prevention or early averting of cyber attacks. The data is deleted after 30 days.

Matomo - Web analysis

On the basis of your consent in accordance with Section 25 (1) TDDDG, Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. a) GDPR, we use the web analysis service Matomo to improve our website. In order to implement a data protection-friendly application of the analysis, the open source software Matomo is operated on the servers of the responsible body and without the use of cookies. Returning visitors to our website are recognised by means of a so-called digital fingerprint, which is only stored in anonymised form. In addition, user movements and access times are processed in anonymised form using IP addresses with browser-side user settings, so that we cannot draw any conclusions about the identity of individual visitors to our website. Further information on the functionality of the Matomo web analysis service can be found on the provider's website.

Use of local storage

Our website uses the local storage of your browser. This stores the settings relating to dark/light mode (dark) and the user ID for the technical guarantee of a new login (userId). The use of local storage is absolutely necessary and is based on Section 25 (2) No. 2 TDDDG. Third parties cannot access the information stored in the Local Storage. The information in the Local Storage is stored until it is deleted by the user in the browser.

Data privacy rights and contact to the data privacy officer

Affected persons may at any time request information about the personal data relating to them and request correction, deletion or restriction of processing, or revoke processing. There is also a right to data portability in your favor. Furthermore, if the data processing is carried out on the basis of consent, this can be revoked at any time for the future. To exercise your rights, you can contact our data privacy officer, the Dresden Institute for Data Protection at datenschutz@develappers.de (further contact details at www.dids.de ). In addition, pursuant to Art. 77 GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint at a data privacy supervisory authority if it is suspected that the processing of personal data is unlawful.

Data Collection and Storage in the Teams App

As part of using our Teams App, we collect and process certain necessary data to ensure optimal functionality and a seamless user experience. This includes the username (typically the email address used to log into Teams) and, if the app has been added to a team, the relevant group-Id. While the group-Id is stored in our database, the username is not retained. Instead, we only record the final name provided by the user.

Additionally, we utilize Session Storage within Teams to further enhance the user experience. This allows us to automatically return users to their original room when they temporarily switch to other tabs.

This approach is essential to ensure that users can return to their previous session without interruption and with maximum convenience, eliminating the need to re-enter their data.
